Smart Water Management – CCMC: Account & Data Deletion Request

Smart Water Management – CCMC is an internal-use mobile application for authorized staff of Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC). Users may request deletion of their account and associated data by following the process below.

How to request account deletion

Please send an email request from your registered official email ID (if applicable), or provide your registered user details, to:

Subject: Account Deletion Request – Smart Water Management (CCMC)

Include the following details in your request:

  • Full Name

  • Registered Mobile Number / User ID

  • Department 

  • Reason for request (optional)

What data will be deleted

Upon verification and approval by CCMC administrators, the following will be deleted or deactivated as applicable:

  • User account (login access)

  • User profile details (name/user ID as maintained for login)

  • App access permissions/role mappings

What data may be retained

Certain operational records may be retained for official and audit purposes in accordance with applicable government record retention policies:

  • Time-stamped valve status updates

  • Meter readings

  • Operational reports and logs linked to infrastructure monitoring

Where retained, CCMC will restrict access to authorized officials only.

Processing time

Deletion requests are typically processed within 7–15 working days after successful verification.
